The Level 300 Coaching Certification is the next step in the American Rugby Model (ARM). The certification progresses towards advanced coaching skills used in athlete development and program building.
The Level 300 Course consists of a two-day certification clinic and successful completion of the home study tasks. This course is much more involved than the Level 200 with respect to pre-coursework, the in-person clinic, and post-coursework.
The objective of the certification is for coaches to increase their ability to effectively coach players to develop technical skills and to achieve strategic and tactical outcomes. Coaches will be able to use the coaching process, key factor analysis, functional role analysis, and principles of play to achieve specific short and medium-term goals for their teams.
What do I have to do to complete the Level 300?
Who is best suited to attend the Level 300?
Participants are recommended to have completed a minimum of 1 year as an active Level 200 coach. This course is appropriate for coaches at all age levels and abilities, who are looking to increase their tactical and strategic coaching abilities. Please come prepared to take on the requirements of the Level 300.
USA Rugby strongly recommends this course for all coaches wishing to enter the Elite Coaching Pathway.
